General Policies

CommitmentBy enrolling in a Kindermusik class you are making a commitment to the entire semester. Allegrow Music is making a commitment to provide you with the highest quality music experience by partnering with Allegrow Music. You have made a commitment to attend your class at a designated weekly time and Allegrow Music has saved that time for your family. Once the semester begins, no one can fill your child's spot in his/her absence; therefore regular attendance is encouraged.

Fees:  Non-refundable registration deposits are due with your registration form to reserve a space for your child. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your Kindermusik class. Tuition is paid on a semester basis. It may be paid in full with the registration form or may be paid in monthly installments.  Allegrow Music accepts cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.  If you cancel your child's registration within two weeks prior to classes starting, you will not be obligated to pay the tuition, however, the registration deposit is non-refundable. No refunds are available once the semester begins. Please make your check payments to Allegrow Music.

Punctuality: We are conscientious of beginning and ending classes on time. We appreciate your punctuality. We ask that you not enter if you arrive more than 15 minutes late so that the class in progress is not interrupted.

Make-ups: If you miss a class, refer to www.allegrowmusic.com for additional class times. By calling first, you may attend another class based on space availability. Make-ups must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class. Make-ups are available during the current semester and may not be carried over into future semesters.

Siblings: If your infant is small enough to remain in a carrier, he/she is welcome to come along with you to your child's class. We want your Kindermusik® class to be a special time of interaction for you and the child you have enrolled. If you find that it is distracting for you to attend to your enrolled child and your infant, please plan to make child-care arrangements for your infant. All siblings are welcome for the last 10 minutes of Imagine That! Family Time is designed to accommodate all family members.

Classroom Etiquette: Please help us minimize distractions by turning off your cell phones and placing personal items in designated areas. Remove your shoes and your child's shoes for class and place them outside the classroom door. Food and drink are not allowed in the classroom. You are strongly encouraged to leave snacks, sippy cups, pacifiers, and favorite toys at home or in the car. Your child will need to have his/her hands free to hold musical instruments and fully participate in all activities.

Teacher Absence/Illness: In the event of teacher absence or illness, a substitute teacher may teach your class or you may get a call postponing the class. In the case of postponing the class, you will resume classes the following week. The semester will be extended by one week.

Communication: Ginger Bennett, our Kindermusik educator, is a board certified music therapist and a certified neurologic music therapist. She has professional experience and guidance available for a wide variety of developmental needs. Any information regarding changes in your family which, may have an impact on your child's learning, should be shared with her. Before and after class may not always be the best time to chat about these confidential issues. If Ms. Ginger is unavailable for an immediate discussion, she will make it a priority to personally call you later in the week.

Refund Policy

Our studio offers the following refund policies. Only one policy will apply to the class your child is registered for. The class description and the registration process will identify the exact refund policy for the class you have chosen.

Studio Refund Policy
Deposits are not refundable, but tuition is refundable if we are notified in writing or by email 2 weeks prior to the start of the class.

  • Look at the URL (website address) in your browser. If you are connected to a secure server, the URL will always begin with "https" rather than "http."
  • Most browsers display an icon that indicates whether or not you have a secure connection. Look for the unbroken key or closed lock icons in the bottom left or right corner of your browsers.
